BOOMS
Booms
Oil absorbent booms absorb and contain oil spills on the water. Sections are linked together, forming a barrier. Pads are deployed to absorb the interior portion of the spill, rolls are deployed along shorelines to prevent soil contamination, and sweeps are dragged across the final oil sheen. Unlike absorbent booms, containment booms only contain the spill, but they can be retrieved and stored for future use.

Absorbent Booms
Choose from oil spill booms or hazmat booms. Both types have end connectors for extending the length of the barrier.
Containment Booms
Containment booms from Galaxy Products are used to surround and contain oil spills or sewage releases. Also used to retain debris. Containment booms can be used in fresh or salt water. Ideal for holding ponds, marinas, or oil spill response teams.
