ABSORBENTS - OIL-ONLY
Absorbents - Oil-Only
Galaxy oil absorbent products are great with oil, gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and other hydrocarbon-based fluids. Use these materials to remove oil from the surface of water, contain fluids under and around heavy equipment in factories, and in machine shops for general maintenance applications.

Booms
Oil absorbent booms are used to absorb and contain hydrcarbon-based fluids (oil, diesel, gasoline, fuel oil, etc.) spilled on water. The sections are linked together, forming an absorbing barrier. Oil absorbent pads, rolls, and sweeps are used in conjunction with oil absorbent booms for womb to tomb clean-up.
Sweeps
Oil absorbent sweep is primarily used to clean-up oil spills on water. Galaxy absorbent sweep has a durable edge for strength, needed when dragging oil absorbent sweep across the final sheen of an oil spill.
Mats
Galaxy oil absorbent pads absorb hydrocarbon-based fluids and repel water. Oil absorbent mats are primarily used to skim oil off of water, but they are also used in machine shops, for transporting fuel, or for wiping down greasy tools and machine parts. Choose from various textures, colors, and absorption capabilities.
Viscous-Snare
Oil absorbent snare is used to absorb thick crude oil off of water.
Rolls
Oil Absorbent Rolls absorb hydrocarbon-based fluids and repel water. Oil-only absorbent rolls are most commonly used in emergency situations to clean-up oil spills on water, but they are also used for regular maintenance applications, too. Choose from various surface textures.
Socks
Oil Absorbent
Socks
protect leaky equipment, walkways, and drains. They absorb and divert oil while repelling water. You can also use absorbent socks in sumps and bilges to skim oil from water.
Pillows
Oil Absorbent
Pillows
absorb hydrocarbon-based fluids and repel water. Oil-only absorbent pillows are most commonly used for outdoor applications where separating oil and water is needed (or to absorb oil and divert water from a drain). Just place a pillow in a tight or open area for maximum absorption.
Granular
Oil Only
Granular Absorbents
are available in many forms. Choose between large or small particle size, dense or fluffy, and dusty or dust-free.
Oil-only granular absorbents are typically used along shorelines to absorb any hydrocarbons that was ashore.
